Vulkane prägen die Landschaft Siziliens. Schroffe Felsen stehen im Kontrast zu weissen Häusern, Lava kann jeden Augenblick die üppigen Felder und fruchtbehangenen Bäume versengen. Etna und Stromboli sind noch immer aktiv. Dennoch strahlen die Aufnahmen von Ralph Dinkel eine majestätische Ruhe aus.


Volcanic activity is part of daily life in sicily. Rough rock formations and black lava fields are in stark contrast with villages and farmland. The vulcanos Etna and Stromboli are still active, nonetheless ralph dinkel manages to capture a majestic silence in his photographs.
